Meet Alyssa Draeger, DCM, L.Ac

Hi! I’m Dr Alyssa Draeger, the founder and licensed practitioner here at Equilibrium Acupuncture in Mosinee, WI. I have always been passionate about natural health care and I am so excited to start sharing the amazing healing effects acupuncture can provide to this area. 

 

I graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and a Doctorate Degree in Chinese Medicine. I am also certified in Clean Needle Technique and CPR/First Aid. Prior to NWHSU, I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in Public Health Education and Promotion and was fortunate enough to be on the Women’s basketball team. My senior year, I started to develop daily headaches from tight neck and shoulder muscles and finally decided to try acupuncture after many other therapies didn’t have lasting results for me. I was amazed at the results and it really lit a passion inside of me to help others achieve their health goals through all natural medicine like I did.

With my sports background and active lifestyle, I have always been passionate about helping others with pain, sports injuries, and mental health. I have experience treating Professional Women’s football players, United States Australian League football players, and British Virgin Island Olympic athletes. My goal is to help you get back to the activities you love doing rather that be playing in the backyard with your kids/grandkids, crafting, building, playing sports, biking, golfing, skiing, or kayaking!

In my free time I love traveling, going on adventures with my husband, son, and dog, spending time with family and friends, reading, and building projects/making crafts.
